I recently read an article that free online dating sites were becoming the most popular way to meet singles. I was very skeptical since I had never been one to indulge in this type of socialization. So, I thought "why not"?.
I went online and started searching through the dating sites and lo and behold found a few that peaked my interest. I did something that I wouldn't have ever thought possible. I JOINED two

I started browsing through profiles and found a really hot guy that I decided to email. My heart was pounding and the adrenaline soaring!! I finally pushed send and waited for him to respond. What did I get back?? Nothing!!
So, I said to myself, "Don't despair!" There are hundreds of other single men to choose from on this free online dating site. Then, I emailed another guy that looked kind of cute. Two days later I got a response.
We exchanged a few emails and then had a meeting several days later. It was not exactly what I had hoped for but he was really nice. We decided to keep in touch and will probably make plans to do something in the future.
Free online dating has opened up a new world for me. I definitely think this beats meeting guys in grocery stores!
